Last April 23 we celebrated Words That Move the World! As every year, April 23rd is a powerful convergence of celebrations: World Book Day and the Day of the Spanish and English Languages!! My passions all in one!
I had the privilege of experiencing it in the most inspiring way — attending exclusive conferences for language professionals at the 49th International Book Fair in Buenos Aires, Argentina 🇦🇷.
Surrounded by passionate voices, brilliant minds, and a shared love for languages, I was reminded of the impact that words have. Words are present in books, podcasts, audiobooks, AI, and digital books, and in every act of communication we shape as translators, interpreters, and language specialists.
Delighted to meet and see long-time friends, colleagues, and clients from different parts of the world. Very insightful and interesting speakers who shared their research and knowledge with an immense audience.
